Svimisa is a mining society that operates in the extraction, production and sale of not metalliferous minerals, clay, kaolins and feldspars destined to ceramics and refractory industry.
Svimisa is born in 1958 with attempt industrializing important concessions of clay in the iron and steel field and the refractory one. Found in the 1961 from the AFL Falk it comes absorbed after some years from the SIRMA of the Fiat group and to the end of years Seventy with the crisis of the iron and steel field it puts into effect an important technological conversion getting ready to the production of clay and kaolins for ceramics industry intuing at first the possibility to value such raw materials in virtue of the optimal characteristics chemistries and techniques.
Subsequently Svimisa is part of the Laviosa Group, operating society in the field of bentonites and finally in years 90 comes integrally acquired from the Gruppo Ceramico Concorde di Fiorano.
Svimisa, during last decade has extended extractive activity to the field of sodics feldspars and sodic-potassic acquiring important layer situates to North-Sardinia and has undertaken the commercialization of raw materials foreign which Turkish sodics feldspars and German clay.
In 1996 it has achieved certification ISO 9002 for giving guarantee to the Customers of the processes of production and the products.

Svimisa, in virtue of a quarantennale experience, has defined and optimized all the productive cycle and of commercialization guaranteeing at Customers the conformity of the processes and of the products and the functionality and perfect working order.
This objective has been caught up thanks to remarkable investments in machinery and treatment systems, laboratory central and laboratories dislocate in the site of production with the most modern instrumentations for the analyses physicist-chemistries and the characterizations technical-ceramics, formation and constant modernization of the staff, attendance directed to the Customer.
